25 So you are to know and understand that from the issuing of a [a](A)decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem, until [b](B)Messiah the (C)Prince, there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with [c]streets and moat, even in times of distress. 26 Then after the sixty-two weeks, the [d]Messiah will be (D)cut off and have [e]nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will (E)destroy the city and the sanctuary. And [f]its end will come with a (F)flood; even to the end [g]there will be war; desolations are determined.

25 “Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild(A) Jerusalem until the Anointed One,[a](B) the ruler,(C) comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble.(D) 26 After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death(E) and will have nothing.[b] The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood:(F) War will continue until the end, and desolations(G) have been decreed.(H)
