Daniel 6:9-11

9 So[a] the king, Darius, signed the writing and the interdict.[b] 10 Now when[c] Daniel realized that the document was signed, he went to his house (now he had windows in his upper room that were open[d] toward Jerusalem), and three times daily[e] he knelt on his knees and prayed and gave praise before his God, just as[f] he had been doing previously.[g] 11 Then these men came as a group and they found Daniel praying and pleading for mercy before his God.

9 So King Darius put the decree in writing.
10 Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward(A) Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees(B) and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.(C) 11 Then these men went as a group and found Daniel praying and asking God for help.(D)
