26 and (A)He made from one man every nation of mankind to inhabit all the face of the earth, having (B)determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, 27 that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, (C)though He is not far from each one of us; 28 for (D)in Him we live and move and [a]exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His offspring.’ 29 Being then the offspring of God, we (E)ought not to suppose that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the craft and thought of man. 30 Therefore having (F)overlooked (G)the times of ignorance, God is (H)now commanding men that everyone everywhere should repent, 31 because He has fixed (I)a day in which (J)He will judge [b](K)the world in righteousness [c]through a Man whom He (L)determined, having furnished proof to all [d]by (M)raising Him from the dead.”

32 Now when they heard about (N)the resurrection of the dead, some began to sneer, but others said, “We shall hear you [e]again concerning this.” 33 In this way, Paul went out of their midst. 34 But some men joined him and believed, among whom also were Dionysius the (O)Areopagite and a woman named Damaris and others with them.

19 because (A)that which is known about God is evident [a]within them; for God made it evident to them. 20 For (B)since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, both His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, (C)being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 For even though they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or give thanks, but they became (D)futile in their thoughts, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 (E)Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and (F)exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the likeness of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.

24 Therefore (G)God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be (H)dishonored among them. 25 For they exchanged the truth of God for [b]a (I)lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, (J)who is blessed [c]forever. Amen.

26 For this reason (K)God gave them over to (L)dishonorable passions; for their (M)females exchanged the natural function for that which is [d]unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the (N)males abandoned the natural function of the female and burned in their desire toward one another, (O)males with males committing [e]indecent acts and receiving in [f]their own persons the due penalty of their error.

28 And just as they did not see fit [g]to acknowledge God, (P)God gave them over to an unfit mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 having been filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are (Q)gossips, 30 slanderers, [h](R)haters of God, violent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, (S)disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, (T)unloving, unmerciful; 32 and although they know the righteous requirement of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of (U)death, they not only do the same, but also (V)give hearty approval to those who practice them.
