Acts 2:39-41

39 For the promise[a] is for you and your children, and for all who are far away, as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.” 40 With many other words he testified[b] and exhorted them saying, “Save yourselves from this perverse[c] generation!” 41 So those who accepted[d] his message[e] were baptized, and that day about 3,000 people[f] were added.[g]
