Amplified Bible
26 “Brothers, sons of Abraham’s family, and those among you who fear God, to us has been sent the message of this salvation [obtained through faith in Jesus Christ].(A) 27 For those who live in Jerusalem, and their rulers, who failed to recognize or understand both Jesus and the voices of the prophets which are read every Sabbath, have fulfilled these [very prophecies] by condemning Him. 28 And though they found no cause or charge deserving death, they asked Pilate to have Him executed.

26 “Fellow children of Abraham(A) and you God-fearing Gentiles, it is to us that this message of salvation(B) has been sent. 27 The people of Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize Jesus,(C) yet in condemning him they fulfilled the words of the prophets(D) that are read every Sabbath. 28 Though they found no proper ground for a death sentence, they asked Pilate to have him executed.(E)
