22 “If someone sins against his neighbor and is made to take an oath, and he comes and takes an oath before Your altar in this house, 23 then hear from heaven and take action and judge Your servants, [a](A)punishing the wicked by bringing his way on his own head, and justifying the righteous by [b]repaying him according to his righteousness.

22 “When anyone wrongs their neighbor and is required to take an oath(A) and they come and swear the oath before your altar in this temple, 23 then hear from heaven and act. Judge between your servants, condemning(B) the guilty and bringing down on their heads what they have done, and vindicating the innocent by treating them in accordance with their innocence.
