⁶ At that time Rezin the king of Syria recovered ^(A)Elath for Syria and drove the men of Judah from ^(B)Elath, and the Edomites came to Elath, where they dwell to this day.

⁸ So ^(A)we went on, away from our brothers, the people of Esau, who live in Seir, away from ^(B)the Arabah road from ^(C)Elath and ^(D)Ezion-geber.

“And we turned and went in the direction of the wilderness of Moab.

¹⁷ Then Solomon went to ^(A)Ezion-geber and ^(B)Eloth on the shore of the sea, in the land of Edom.
