16 He made chains for the inner sanctuary[a] and also put them on the tops of the pillars. He also made one hundred pomegranates and put them on the chains. 17 He set up the pillars in front of the temple building,[b] one on the south side and the other on the north. He named the one on the south Jakin[c] and the one on the north Boaz.[d]
