18 men who have gone astray from the truth saying that (A)the resurrection has already taken place, and they upset (B)the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless, the (C)firm foundation of God stands, having this (D)seal, “(E)The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “(F)Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness.”
20 Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and (G)some to honor and some to dishonor.

They say that the resurrection has already taken place,(A) and they destroy the faith of some.(B) 19 Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm,(C) sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,”(D) and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord(E) must turn away from wickedness.”
20 In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use.(F)
