10 And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “(A)Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh will be restored to you and you will be clean.” 11 But Naaman was furious and went away, and he said, “Behold, I [a]thought, ‘He will certainly come out to me, and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the site and cure the [b]leprosy.’ 12 Are [c]Abanah and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, not better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?” So he turned and (B)went away in a rage.

10 Elisha sent a messenger to say to him, “Go, wash(A) yourself seven times(B) in the Jordan, and your flesh will be restored and you will be cleansed.”
11 But Naaman went away angry and said, “I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand(C) over the spot and cure me of my leprosy. 12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters(D) of Israel? Couldn’t I wash in them and be cleansed?” So he turned and went off in a rage.(E)
