12 Then he said to (A)Gehazi his servant, “Call this Shunammite.” And when he had called her, she stood before him. 13 He said to him, “Say now to her, ‘Behold, you have been [a]careful for us with all this [b]care; what can I do for you? Would you be spoken for to the king or to the captain of the army?’” And she [c]answered, “I live among my own people.” 14 So he said, “What then is to be done for her?” And Gehazi [d]answered, “Truly she has no son and her husband is old.”

12 He said to his servant Gehazi, “Call the Shunammite.”(A) So he called her, and she stood before him. 13 Elisha said to him, “Tell her, ‘You have gone to all this trouble for us. Now what can be done for you? Can we speak on your behalf to the king or the commander of the army?’”

She replied, “I have a home among my own people.”

14 “What can be done for her?” Elisha asked.

Gehazi said, “She has no son, and her husband is old.”
