when the slain fall in Egypt,
    and ^(D)her wealth^[a] is carried away,
    and ^(E)her foundations are torn down.

^9 (A)Cush was her strength;
    Egypt too, and that without limit;
    ^(B)Put and the ^(C)Libyans were her^[a] helpers.
