³ If anyone ^(A)advocates a different doctrine and does not ^[a]agree with ^(B)sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine ^(C)conforming to godliness,

^13 (A)I direct you in the presence of God, who ^[a]gives life to all things, and of ^(B)Christ Jesus, who testified the ^(C)good confession ^(D)before Pontius Pilate,

¹⁴ that you keep the commandment without ^[a]fault or reproach until the ^(A)appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,

⁸ But even if we, or ^(A)an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be ^[a](B)accursed! ⁹ As we ^(C)have said before, even now I say again: ^(D)if anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be ^[b](E)accursed!

¹⁵ and that ^(A)from childhood you have known ^(B)the sacred writings which are able to ^(C)give you the wisdom that leads to ^(D)salvation through faith which is in ^(E)Christ Jesus.
