4 Now we hope for the blessings God has for his children. These blessings, which cannot be destroyed or be spoiled or lose their beauty, are kept in heaven for you. 5 God’s power protects you through your faith until salvation is shown to you at the end of time. 6 This makes you very happy, even though now for a short time different kinds of troubles may make you sad.

4 and into an inheritance(A) that can never perish, spoil or fade.(B) This inheritance is kept in heaven for you,(C) 5 who through faith are shielded by God’s power(D) until the coming of the salvation(E) that is ready to be revealed(F) in the last time. 6 In all this you greatly rejoice,(G) though now for a little while(H) you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.(I)
