4 and into an inheritance that is imperishable,(A) uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in heaven(B) for you. 5 You are being protected by God’s power(C) through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.(D) 6 You rejoice in this,[a] though now for a short time you have had to struggle in various trials(E)

4 and into an inheritance(A) that can never perish, spoil or fade.(B) This inheritance is kept in heaven for you,(C) 5 who through faith are shielded by God’s power(D) until the coming of the salvation(E) that is ready to be revealed(F) in the last time. 6 In all this you greatly rejoice,(G) though now for a little while(H) you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.(I)
