11 And when they[a] saw it,[b] the Pharisees began to say to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 12 And when he[c] heard it,[d] he said, “Those who are healthy do not have need of a physician, but those who are sick.[e] 13 But go and[f] learn what it means, “I want mercy and not sacrifice.”[g] For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
