2 saying, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? For we have seen his star at its rising[a] and have come to worship him.” 3 And when[b] King Herod heard it,[c] he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him, 4 and after[d] calling together all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired from them where the Christ was to be born.
