Jeremiah 31:2-4
1599 Geneva Bible
2 Thus saith the Lord, The people which [a]escaped the sword, found grace in the wilderness: [b]he walketh before Israel to cause him to rest.
3 The Lord hath appeared unto me [c]of old, say they: [d]Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love, therefore with mercy I have drawn thee.
4 Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin Israel: thou shalt still [e]be adorned with thy timbrels, and shalt go forth in the dance of them that be joyful.
