Exodus 32:10-12
1599 Geneva Bible
10 Now [a]therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, for I will consume them: but I will make of thee a mighty people
11 (A)But Moses prayed unto the Lord his God, and said, O Lord, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought out of the land of Egypt, with great power and with a mighty hand?
12 (B)Wherefore shall the Egyptians [b]speak, and say, He hath brought them out maliciously for to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the earth? turn from thy fierce wrath, and [c]change thy mind from this evil toward thy people.
