¹⁶ After He was baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and ^[a](A)he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and ^[b]settling on Him,

²³ Now John also was baptizing in Aenon, near Salim, because there was an abundance of water there; and people were coming and being baptized—

³⁸ And he ordered that the ^[a]chariot stop; and they both went down into the water, Philip as well as the eunuch, and he baptized him.
