³ Just as I urged you ^[b]upon my departure for ^(E)Macedonia, to remain on at ^(F)Ephesus so that you would instruct certain people not to ^(G)teach strange doctrines, ⁴ nor to ^[c]pay attention to ^(H)myths and endless ^(I)genealogies, which give rise to useless ^(J)speculation rather than ^(K)advance ^[d]the plan of God, which is by faith, so I urge you now.

³¹ So ^(A)the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria ^[a]enjoyed peace, as it was being built up; and as it ^[b]continued in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it kept increasing.
