Psalm 138:6-8

⁶ Though the Lord is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly;^(A)
    though lofty, he sees them^(B) from afar.
⁷ Though I walk^(C) in the midst of trouble,
    you preserve my life.^(D)
You stretch out your hand^(E) against the anger of my foes;^(F)
    with your right hand^(G) you save me.^(H)
8 The Lord will vindicate^(I) me;
    your love, Lord, endures forever^(J)—
    do not abandon^(K) the works of your hands.^(L)
