The Father Revealed in the Son^(A)

²⁵ At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father,^(B) Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.^(C)

²⁷ Then he took a cup,^(A) and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.

¹¹ Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks,^(A) and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.

⁴¹ So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up^(A) and said, “Father,^(B) I thank you that you have heard me.
