⁶ So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah. “Quick,” he said, “get three seahs^[a] of the finest flour and knead it and bake some bread.”^(A)

⁷ Then he ran to the herd and selected a choice, tender calf^(A) and gave it to a servant, who hurried to prepare it.

⁴ “Then he sent some more servants^(A) and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’

²³ Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate.
