Amos 4:7-9

New International Version

⁷ “I also withheld^(A) rain from you
    when the harvest was still three months away.
I sent rain on one town,
    but withheld it from another.^(B)
One field had rain;
    another had none and dried up.
⁸ People staggered from town to town for water^(C)
    but did not get enough^(D) to drink,
    yet you have not returned^(E) to me,”
declares the Lord.^(F)

⁹ “Many times I struck your gardens and vineyards,
    destroying them with blight and mildew.^(G)
Locusts^(H) devoured your fig and olive trees,^(I)
    yet you have not returned^(J) to me,”
declares the Lord.
