¹¹ The next day Saul separated his men into three divisions;^(A) during the last watch of the night they broke into the camp of the Ammonites^(B) and slaughtered them until the heat of the day. Those who survived were scattered, so that no two of them were left together.

⁵ So David and his men went to Keilah, fought the Philistines and carried off their livestock. He inflicted heavy losses on the Philistines and saved the people of Keilah.
