Romans 8:9-14

New American Standard Bible

⁹ However, you are not ^(A)in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God ^(B)dwells in you. But ^(C)if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. ^10 (D)If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is ^[a]alive because of righteousness. ¹¹ But if the Spirit of Him who ^(E)raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, ^(F)He who raised ^(G)Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies ^[b]through His Spirit who dwells in you.

¹² So then, brothers and sisters, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh— ¹³ for ^(H)if you are living in accord with the flesh, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you are ^(I)putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. ¹⁴ For all who are ^(J)being led by the Spirit of God, these are ^(K)sons and daughters of God.
